Bangkok Business Trip

It's always good to travel with boss
because everything is under company's expenses.

Nevertheless, it's not fun to travel for work!

Thai Airways

My boss is such a workaholic. He uses
his computer even when he's on the flight.

It kinda irritates me because I'm paranoid
over the signal transmission (which I think no bcos
there is no connection) or perhaps the components
inside the computer might triggers the plane signal.

It's always to play safe than sorry!

I'm enjoying my time on the flight before
I touch down.

Touch down = Work time

The flight is full for that day

Bird eye view of Central Business District

The 5 - Stars hotel situated in the heart of the
Central Business District. Sofitel Silom reflects
the cosmopolitan sophisicated, luxury and traditional
elegance of Bangkok.

I was warmly greeted by the friendly staffs at the hotel lobby
(including the concierge team) and it really makes my stay
in Sofitel Silom a comfortable one. It feels like being at home.

Punggol 21 Cutie Cutie Baby Show @ Edgefield Pri Sch

Time for update!

I guess quite a number of my close
friends are aware that I'm doing
volunteer work in Punggol.

I'm in the Punggol Youth Committee Club
which was officially started in September 2009
during the movie screening at Downtown East.

I'm glad that Jian Rong, Bee Hong and her bf, Marcus
came down to support me. That's very encouraging!

I was the official Publicity & New Media Secretary
in the team but I stepped down recently due to work
and studies commitment.

Though I've been really busy, I still managed to attend
and helped out the other RC events whenever I'm available.

The most recent event was the Cutie Cutie Baby Show held at Edgefield
Primary School.

I Love My Job!

I love my job!
Though my working hours fluctuates.

I never end my work early.
6pm is a bonus!

I'm lucky because I worked at 11am.
I'm in service line. That explains why I work
at odd timing.

Who says my job is easy?
I do business development, marketing and
sometimes the general administrative tasks I had to cover.

Basically, I'm my boss right hand man!

We all worked hard. Hoping to get more bonus during
the year end.

We also play hard after working hours!!!

This lady is full of nonsense!

Our clinic manager, Jerine.
We usually called her "si jie".
She is also one hell of a funny lady.

This is my boss, Mr Chai!
He's the Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Looks very young. Yes! I know!

Lastly, my work place!

Great view. Overlooking Chevron House
and Raffles Place.

This is our treatment or consultation room.
This is Room 1. It has become Dr Tan & Mr Chai
meeting room and office.

Photobucket
Every consultation room comes with a Nespresso
coffee machine, internet access, Linksys VoIP phone
and sound proof walls.

Pretty cool huh!

That's why I love my job!

Back from Bangkok

Back from Bangkok.
It was a fruitful trip till I don't even
have time for shopping.

Oh well.. I've practically been
drinking everyday until I'm so sick
of wines.

Nevertheless, my boss knows I love
champagne and he always orders Moet Chandon
for me during some entertainment with business
partners.

Bangkok is a lovely place and the locals
were as friendly as ever. I love thailand!

They always had these very polite and welcoming
gestures to visitor which Singaporeans can never do that.

That's sad but it's Singapore!

It feels great to be back but it's even better if I can
extend my stay.

Look forward to the leisure trip in January with J.A.W.B!

Off to Bangkok for business...

Off to Bangkok for 3 days for a business trip!

I will be visiting 2 major hospitals in Bangkok
for business.

Unable to disclose what business we're gonna do
but it's a huge project we're tapping into.

There's so many things for me to learn and I'm so
looking forward to it.

It's always good to put a face to everything.
Networking is great for businesses.

I'm glad I was given this opportunities to explore
the market out there. It's gonna be a wide exposure
for me.

I'm staying at a 5-stars Sofitel Bangkok Silom!
Unfortunately, there wasn't any business class seats available,
else I would be flying by business class!!!

Will be back on Friday and update more about my trip!

I'm also looking forward for entertainments and shopping in Bangkok!
